Counsel sends your message, chosen names, and relevant conversation context through OpenRouter to AI models from Google (Gemma), DeepSeek and OpenAI, run only by hosts that keep no copy and don’t train on it, to suggest rewrites and replies. Solo rewrites for other apps are processed the same way and are not saved.
Private conversations are hidden from your partner through Counsel. The service and AI providers still process them. They are not end-to-end encrypted.
